This tour explores the eastern section of the Grand Ridge trail, the highest maintained trail in Olympic National Park. The trail starts at 5,300 feet in Deer Park and meanders through subalpine forested mountainsides, meadows carpeted in wildflowers, and finishes at 6,200 feet on Maiden Peak. Along the way, you will get unparalleled, wide open views of the northern Cascade Mountains including Mt. Baker to the east, Vancouver Island nestled in the stunning Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north, and Grand Valley and panoramic views of the Olympic mountains to the South.
