Turtle Mound National Historic Site



We begin our trip by heading south to observe and learn about Turtle Mound Historic site, in the uninhabited Canaveral National Seashore. Our journey continues through the Park, while we observe the wildlife that inhabits the estuary, as well as learn about area history and conservation. Dolphins, manatees (in season), a variety of shorebirds, fish, and turtles are regularly sighted.
