Paddle boarding through Florida can be one of the most beautiful but also one of the most daring things you do in the Sunshine State, especially if you don’t know the area well. Go with a naturalist guide and pass through the mangrove area, Singer Island, and the Jupiter waterways as you look for wildlife and learn about the unique ecosystem of the region.
- Explore Singer Island, and Jupiter waterways
- A naturalist guide knows the ecosystem of the area well to show you
- Keep a lookout for wildlife—sightings include manatees, rays, and more
- Paddleboard, life jacket, and all other equipment provided
What To Expect
Once you arrive to our meeting spot, I will have you fill out waivers and get you geared up with life jackets and paddles. The paddle boards will already be in the water waiting for you. We will first do a lesson on land going over paddling technique and how to stand on the paddle board. Then I will go over the weather conditions for the day before heading to the water to get on the boards. Once on the paddle boards we will practice paddling before heading out to explore. Our route will depend on the weather conditions, skill level, and tide. My tours depart at both low and high tide with both tides offering different marine life sightings. We will either paddle board over to Fullerton Island in search of dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rays, sea stars and more. Our other route will take us past the Jupiter lighthouse to the crystal clear waters near Dubois Park or Catos Bridge. Depending on the time of the year we can see manatees, sea turtles, cushion sea stars, rays and more.
